See the chart for more details on the contents of each DVD. There are two or three lessons on each DVD. They must be watched on the library's machines. The calculus sequence is considerably more rigorous and di cult than high school or advanced placement (AP) type courses, and the precalculus courses are similarly much more di cult in preparation for this. Students should discuss electives with an advisor. First and foremost this course is intended to get students prepared for one of the UF calculus sequences. Students should check prerequisites when planning their major electives. Rosenthal's lectures are available on DVD at the audio-visual desk on the fifth floor of the Green Library. 2 Materials 2.1 Textbook The textbook we will be using is MAC2234 Survey of Calculus II, University of Florida. The computer science combination-degree program is a joint program between the colleges of Engineering and Liberal Arts and Sciences and is coordinated by the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering. You may visit the Tutorial Office or email them at Prof. The phone number of the office is 30 (MMC) or 30 (BBC). You may receive free tutoring, whether you are a minority or not, but by appointment only. Tutoring is available to all students by the Assistance in Academic Achievement (AAA) Tutorial Program offered by the Office of Social Justice and Inclusion in GC 216 (MMC) or WUC 253 (BBC).For those of you living closer to the Biscayne Bay Campus, the Math Lab there is in AC1 160 and the phone number is 30. Otherwise, you will have to make an appointment. If you go and there are tutors available, you will get immediate help. The University Learning Center is in GL 120. The videos were made when we were using the 8th edition of the text, so section numbers and page numbers mentioned in the videos will not correspond to your book.
